The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) signed an agreement with Gumi City to host the 2023 Gumi-Dodram Cup Professional Volleyball Tournament, and professional volleyball and Gumi City will be reunited for the first time in six seasons.
About 10 officials attended the signing ceremony 메이저놀이터 held at Gumi City Hall on the 24th, including Shin Moo-chul, secretary-general of the Korea Volleyball Federation, Gumi City Mayor Kim Ho-seop, Gumi City Council Chairman An Joo-chan, Sports Council President Yoon Sang-hoon, and Volleyball Association President Kim Jin-hwan.
Through this agreement, Gumi City promised to provide various support, including the rental of Gumi Park Chung-hee Gymnasium, as well as public relations to attract spectators, and to cooperate with each other for successful operation of the competition.
Gumi City reunited with professional volleyball in about six years and four months after LIG Insurance, the predecessor of KB Insurance, joined the V-League from 2005 to 2017 and March 2017, the last game of the 2016-2017 season.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Gumi-Dodram Cup Professional Volleyball Tournament will be held for a total of 16 days from July 29 to August 5 and from August 6 to 13.
As 37,000 spectators visited the Suncheon-Dodram Cup professional volleyball tournament in 2022, we hope that the hot volleyball festival will continue in the upcoming tournament in Gumi City.
