Real Madrid’s newest ace, Jude Bellingham, struck again to join legendary Cristiano Ronaldo on the scoresheet.
Real drew 1-1 away to Real Betis in the 16th round of the 2023/24 La Liga season at the Estadio Benito Villamarín in Seville, Spain, on Tuesday (Sept. 10). The 1-1 draw leaves Real with 12 wins, three draws and one loss and 39 points, not far behind second-place Girona (38 points). Betis remained in seventh place with 6W8D2L and 26 points.
Bellingham, who started on the left flank, scored the game’s opening goal to draw level with club legend Ronaldo. He now has 12 goals in 14 league games this season, tying the record for most goals in his first season with the club. It was overshadowed by a fantastic mid-range equalizer from Betis’ Aitor Ruibal.
Betis lined up in a 4-2-3-1. Huy Silva was in goal, while Rui, Hermann Pechela, Shadi Riad, and Evner Vinicius formed the defense. Sergi Altimira and Marc Roca formed the midfield, with Ayose Pérez, Isco, and Abdé Ezzaljuli in the second line. Philippe Coutinho started up top.
Real also lined up in a 4-2-3-1. Andriy Lunin was in goal, with Per Mendy, David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger, and Lucas Vazquez in defense. Tony Cross and Federico Valverde formed the midfield, with Bellingham, Luka Modric, and Brime Dias in the second line. Hodriguez started up front. 무지개토토 주소
After a tightly-contested first half that ended 0-0, Real took the lead eight minutes into the second half through Bellingham’s goal. After winning the ball on the left flank, Bellingham slipped a pass to Dias, who promptly slipped through a gap in the defense before floating a return pass to Bellingham. With the defense completely out of position and a one-on-one opportunity, Bellingham calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net with his right foot.
It was Bellingham’s 12th goal in the league. It was his first in 14 games since joining La Liga. It equaled the record of club legend Ronaldo, who joined Real from Manchester United in the 2009/10 season.
