The possibility that national striker Hwang Eui-jo (31), who failed to establish himself in the Greek professional football Olympiacos, will head to the American professional football (MLS) has been raised.

Italy’s Fabrizio Romano, a European football transfer expert, said on the 13th (Korean time) through social network service (SNS), “MLS’s Minnesota United has officially proposed his recruitment to Hwang Eui-jo’s original team, Nottingham Forest (England). “The lease contract with Olympiacos will be terminated,” he said.

Hwang Eui-jo moved to Nottingham from Bordeaux, a French professional football club, in August of last year, and immediately the owner spent the 2022-2023 season on loan at Olympiacos.

However, Hwang Ui-jo did not show much in the Greek league.

He only posted one assist in a total of 12 official games, including 5 regular league games and 6 European Football Federation (UEFA) Europa League games.

In the league, he was excluded from the list for 9 consecutive matches after the 8th round with PAOK in October of last year.

On the 12th of this month, he played a first-team match in about two months in the 2022-2023 Greek Cup round of 16 second leg away match (2-2 draw) against Atromitos, but could not record an attack point.

As Hwang Eui-jo loses his place at Olympiacos, there is a prospect that he will return to his original team, Nottingham, or leave in search of a new team. 안전놀이터
