Corey Seager (29, Texas Rangers) is flying high in the postseason. He’s moving forward towards Barry Bonds.

Texas lost 3-10 in Game 4 of the 2023 Major League Baseball Postseason American League Championship Series (ALCS) against the Houston Astros held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on the 20th (Korean time).

Texas’ momentum in this postseason was tremendous. They had a 7-game winning streak leading up to Game 2 of the Championship Series.

But after that, the momentum waned. We ended up losing two games in a row.

Texas has yet to win the World Series. It has been 62 years since its founding in 1961 that it is attempting to win the championship.

The presence of Seager, who qualified as a free agent after the 2021 season and signed a huge 10-year contract worth $325 million (about 440.4 billion won) with Texas, is being revealed in fall baseball.

On this day, Texas gave up a run from the first inning. Starter Andrew Heaney went down without even completing one inning, giving up 4 hits, 1 walk, and 3 runs in ⅔ innings.먹튀검증

In the bottom of the second inning, trailing 0-3, Texas started to chase. Adolis Garcia’s solo shot and Josh Young’s sacrifice fly tied up the lead to one point.

And in the bottom of the third inning, Seager came out. Although he appeared in a situation with one out and no runner on base, Seager attacked Urquidi’s first pitch, a 92.2 mile (approximately 148 km) four-seam fastball, and crossed the left-center fence. It was Seager’s 15th home run in the postseason.

According to MLB.com reporter Sarah Langs, with this home run, Seager rose to third place with the most home runs in the postseason by a shortstop. First place is Seager, following Derek Jeter (20 home runs) and Carlos Correa (18 home runs).

In particular, it is a cigar that has a connection with Globe Life Field. He hit 9 home runs in 19 fall baseball games here.

He hit the winning RBI in Game 6 of the World Series while playing for the LA Dodgers in 2020, where he won the World Series MVP. He played in six World Series games in which he batted .400 with two home runs, six walks, and five RBI.

Seager had a multi-hit game with a right-handed hit with one out in the 8th inning with the game tied 3-10, but he had no choice but to watch his team lose.

In addition to today’s game, Seager is active in 9 postseason games with a batting average of 0.355, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs, and an OPS of 1.169.
