They lost again. The Oakland Athletics have lost seven straight games. Their winning percentage for the season is now in the low teens.

The A’s fell to 1-6 against the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball’s 2023 World Series at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington, USA, on Friday 토토사이트 (July 25).

The loss extended Oakland’s losing streak to seven games, which began on April 18 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Tied 0-0 through three innings, the A’s blew a five-run lead in the bottom of the fourth.

With the bases loaded and two outs, Oakland’s Ken Wildichuck hit a two-run double off Seattle’s Sam Haggerty in front of the left field fence. After giving up back-to-back singles to J.P. Crawford and Julio Rodriguez, Haggerty gave up a bases-loaded walk to Carl Laray to make it 5-0.

With the momentum swinging in Seattle’s favor, the Oakland bats couldn’t do much of anything.

The A’s managed just one run on seven scattered hits on the day.

This is the second time this season that Oakland has lost seven straight games. They’ve lost six in a row once before.

The A’s are no strangers to losing this season. The loss to Arizona dropped their record to 10-41 on the season. Their winning percentage dropped to .196 and their double-digit winning percentage collapsed.

The losses are piling up at an overwhelming pace.

Oakland’s franchise record for losses in a season is 117 (36 wins), set by the Philadelphia Athletics in 1916. The major league record for losses in the 20th century is 120 (40 wins), set by the New York Mets in 1962.

Oakland is on pace to break both of those records. At their current pace, the A’s will have 130 losses for the season.
