[Spotv News = Reporter Park Dae-sung] On the 22nd, Daejeon Hana Citizen conducted Hana Dream School, a visiting soccer class, at Samsung Elementary School in Daejeon.
“Hana Dream School” is a social contribution activity that has been in progress since 2021 through cooperation with the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education to support vulnerable students in education. Daejeon Hana Citizen players teach soccer directly to students at elementary and secondary schools in Daejeon, encourage them to participate in healthy sports activities, and promote healthy relationships among classmates.
The second session was held at Samsung Elementary School on the 22nd, following the first implementation of “Hana Dream School” in 2024 at Daeryong Elementary School on the 16th. The event was attended by midfielder Jung Jin-woo and defender Lee Han-bin of Daejeon Hana Citizen. For students who lack experience in soccer, they had time to get close to the ball through simple recreation and finished the program by inspiring interest in soccer through basic training such as passes and dribbles and mini-games.
Jung Jin-woo, who participated in the event, said, “I get more energy from the way children enjoy playing soccer through Hana Dream School. It was a rewarding day to have the opportunity to communicate with children outside the stadium, and I hope that the children who were with me today will also have more interest in soccer and Daejeon Hana Citizen.”
“Hana Dream School” will be operated for eight schools in the Daejeon area until October. In July and October, participating students will visit Daejeon World Cup Stadium to hold a “Daejeon World Cup Stadium Tour” program, including the Daejeon Hana Citizen Public Relations Center, the 2022 World Cup Memorial Hall, the player locker room and ground tour. 안전놀이터

In addition, on June 16, the women’s futsal competition “2024 Hana Queens Cup,” which marks its third anniversary this year, will be held at the futsal stadium of Deokam Football Center to create a venue for harmony and festivals for women’s soccer clubs.
