Yoon Sang-boo started his professional career at Gwangju FC in the 2016 season and went through Sangju Sangmu (Kim Cheon Sang-moo’s predecessor), Jeju United, Gwangju, and Seoul E-Land.

Yoon has left a deep impression since his debut season in the pro league. Yoon played in 22 K-League matches during the 2016 season and allowed only 21 runs.
