Did he not think about the aftermath that will occur the moment the bakery’s name is released.

The National Assembly’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Mun-su Committee) held a general meeting of the Korea Sports Council with the Korea Football Association (KFA) on the 24th and conducted questions on pending issues. The questionnaire was attended by KFA Chairman Chung Mong-kyu, national team coach Hong Myung-bo, KFA technical director Lee Im-saeng, former chairman of the Korea Power Reinforcement Committee, former power reinforcement committee member Park Joo-ho, and Korean Sports Council president Lee Ki-heung.

Sixteen members of the committee attended the questioning. The committee is comprised of 16 members: Jeon Jae-soo, Chairman Lim Oh-kyung, Kang Yoo-jeong, Kim Yoon-deok, Min Hyeong-bae, Park Soo-hyun, Yang Moon-seok, Lee Ki-hyun, and Jo Gye-won (Democratic Party), Park Jung-ha (Gansa), Kim Seung-soo, Bae Hyun-jin, Shin Dong-wook, Jeong Yeon-wook, Jin Jong-oh (Power of the People), and Kim Jae-won (Cho Kuk Innovation Party).

Questions from lawmakers of the committee continued about the issues of the KFA and the Korea Sports Council. Regarding the KFA, there were talks about the process of appointing Hong Myung-bo. Lawmakers grasped the current issues and asked cold questions about them, but there were also questions that were somewhat problematic.

What was most problematic was Rep. Lee Ki-hyun’s questioning. Asking about the interview process between Lee and Hong, Lee asked about the meeting place. Lee replied, “It is a bakery located near Hong’s house,” but Rep. Lee pointed out, “No bakery is open until 11 p.m. nearby.”

In response, director Lee said, “To be honest, I could have asked Hong’s acquaintance to open the store late at night.” Lee then asked director Hong, “What is the name of the bakery?” Although Hong hesitated due to the question, he said, “I will tell you if it is okay to answer. It is a bakery that is about five minutes away from my house. I didn’t eat anything.”

Then, when the name of the store was revealed, it led to tremendous damage. Netizens continued to terrorize the bakery’s online reviews and social media accounts. Naturally, hundreds of ripples ran and caused great damage. It’s literally a situation close to a lightning bolt.

It may be necessary to confirm the name of the store during the questioning process. However, the meaning of the question has also been greatly tarnished because it has literally inflicted great damage on the self-employed who are innocent at a place of national interest.

Min Hyeong-bae, a lawmaker of the main opposition Minjoo Party of Korea, also released a message conversation image between Lee Im-saeng and a power reinforcement committee member. According to the data, Lee Im-saeng, a technical director, asked A, a power reinforcement committee member, “I put in a text message. I just need you to confirm that I asked (Reporter XX) to agree to the final decision.” However, A replied, “It would be nice if you could proceed without me. I am sorry.”

This is contrary to the previous claim that technical director Lee Im-saeng conducted interviews with foreign directors and appointments of Hong Myung-bo after receiving delegation from the remaining five members of the power reinforcement committee for the final decision. The message conversation took place at 9 p.m. on July 8, a day after the KFA announced that it had appointed Hong Myung-bo as the national team coach.

However, Min claimed that he was conciliatory to Lee and the committee member, which was not true. Park Joo-ho, who was a committee member, said in a question-and-answer session with Min, “I remember talking on the phone for about a minute. We talked about asking for consent, but it was notification. We agreed on the right to appoint a coach and did not talk about a candidate (such as Hong Myung-bo).”

This conversation shows that in the end, the director did not break the procedure and appoint a director and then conciliate, but proceeded with it with prior consent. Regarding the contents of the conversation that Min disclosed, the director also clearly drew the line, saying, “Please confirm that Min asked me to agree to the appointment of the director in advance, not to conciliate.” 안전놀이터

As it was a question of public interest, high-quality questions and in-depth discussions about the future of Korean soccer came and went. However, caution is needed as the meaning may be tarnished if inquiries without consideration are continued simply to attract attention.
