Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (hereinafter referred to as Jeonbuk Hyundai) will participate in the “2024 K League Queen Cup.”

Jeonbuk Hyundai held an opening ceremony for the “2024 K League Queen Cup” at halftime of the 32nd round of the K League 1 match against Jeju on the 28th.

The “2024 K League Queen Cup” is a six-man mini-football tournament held by the Korean Professional Football Federation to expand the base of women’s soccer, and will be held at Jecheon Football Center in Chungcheongbuk-do for two nights and three days from October 11-13.

Jeonbuk Hyundai held the Amateur Women’s Soccer Tournament “Special W League” in May to select a team to participate in the tournament, and a total of 10 amateur women’s soccer teams participated in the competition.

In this competition, “Zest” played a total of 18 games, winning 43 points with 13 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss, a dramatic one-point difference from the second-place team, qualifying for the “2024 K-League Queen Cup.”

Jeonbuk Hyundai sponsored uniforms to all participating teams for the ‘Zest’ team’s propaganda and provided opportunities to train within the Jeonbuk Hyundai clubhouse tour and clubhouse.

In the future, Jeonbuk Hyundai players will also conduct special daily coaching to the “Zest” players.
