The new national soccer team’s uniform to be worn by Hwang Sun-hong has been leaked.
Footy Headlines, a media outlet specializing in soccer supplies, unveiled the color and design of the Korean national team’s away uniforms that will change from March on the 9th (Korea Standard Time). As of now, away uniforms have a modern pattern mixed with sky blue and pink based on black. The emblem of the Korea Football Association was expressed in white.
The media said, “The South Korean away uniform was produced by Nike and will be worn in the 2024 A match.”
Footy headlines earlier mentioned Korea’s home uniform as well. The basics are the same as now. As the national team is called the Red Devils, home is dominated by red color as usual. If the difference is different from now, white waves are engraved on the entire top. The front of the top was treated as a monochrome product for a while, but this time, the front was patterned using white lines.
In addition, fresh mint green has been combined. Mint green, which has never been seen in national team uniforms, has been used in the emblem of the Korea Football Association. The large rectangle, tiger’s face, and the Korean floor were used in black as before, but the small square with mint color has been added to create a unique experience.
Currently, Nike is expected to announce on March 21 the uniforms that will be changed by its sponsors, including Korea, Brazil, England, Portugal, the Netherlands, and France.
Under interim coach Hwang Sun-hong, Korea will play the third match of the second qualifying round for the 2026 FIFA North-Central American World Cup against Thailand on Saturday. Hence, chances are high that the match will be announced before the match against Thailand. 퀸알바
Even if it is not worn in the match against Thailand, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-23 Asian Cup will likely be unveiled in April. The championship, which will feature the Olympic team led by coach Hwang Sun-hong, will be eligible to participate in the Paris Olympics.
Korea was tied in Group B along with Japan, China, and the United Arab Emirates. Korea needs to be in the final three to join the Paris Olympics while wearing the leaked uniforms. There are three direct tickets to the Olympics, and the fourth place is an intercontinental playoff with an African team.
