The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which has been conducting an audit of the Korea Football Association, will announce the first audit results related to the process of appointing Hong Myung-bo.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said it will announce the results of an audit on the appointment of a national soccer coach by the Korea Football Association at 10 a.m. on October 2 at the briefing room in the annex of the Seoul Government Complex. The briefing will be presided over by Jang Mi-ran, the second vice minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Earlier, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been conducting an audit of the Korea Football Association since mid-July to see if there were any problems with the appointment process due to the fierce controversy over the appointment of Hong Myung-bo. The Korea Football Association is a public service-related organization that receives more than 1 billion won in financial support from the government or local governments, so it is subject to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s audit.

According to the Korea Football Association’s labor union, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has conducted an audit of the entire administration of the Korea Football Association, including the appointment of head coach Hong, with inspectors residing at the Korea Football Association since the middle of last month. The Korea Football Association’s union said, “The auditor of the Ministry of Culture is conducting an all-round audit at a level that the association has not experienced. The appointment of national team coaches at all levels, the establishment of the Cheonan Football Center, and the leadership area are requesting vast amounts of data, and employees of related departments are returning weekends and holidays and responding to audits.”

The ministry plans to make an interim announcement on the day to announce the results of its audit on the appointment of Hong Myung-bo. The final announcement of the audit will be made not only through the appointment process but also through the administration of the Korea Football Association.

Earlier on the 24th, Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister Yoo In-chon said, “Procedural matters are very important. On the 2nd, we will first make a presentation on this part. If there is anything wrong, I will point it out, and the football association should decide on the coach’s future.” 메이저놀이터

In a telephone interview with SBS Radio’s “Kim Tae-hyun’s Political Show” two days later, he said, “If it is done in an unfair way, I think it is right to let the public and fans take a fair process again. That way, Hong Myung-bo will be much more justified.” In other words, even if the same result comes out when Hong is elected again, he should proceed with the process of appointing the coach again through a fair process.
