The union of the Korea Football Association issued a second statement calling for the resignation of Vice Chairman Kim Jung-bae. It also reiterated that Chairman Chung Mong-gyu will not run.
The Korea Football Association union said on the 17th, “Vice President Kim should apologize to soccer fans and soccer players and resign immediately,” adding, “Chairman Chung’s declaration of not running is the first step to normalizing Korean soccer.”

The union, which issued a statement opposing Chung’s second term in September, demanded that Vice Chairman Kim step down immediately this time. The Korea Football Association’s labor union said that Vice Chairman Kim, a former vice minister of culture, sports and tourism, was appointed as the working-level general manager as one of the measures to deal with the crisis after the controversial amnesty of footballers in March last year, adding, “Even at the time of appointment, Chairman Chung made the wrong decision, but he reorganized the organization in a way that did not appoint the vice chairman of footballers, causing controversy.”

He also said that it was Vice Chairman Kim who sent a mocking e-mail to a reporter who wrote an article criticizing the association in July, and that he should step down immediately.

The Korea Football Association, which was recently audited by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, also reported the difficulties it experienced in the process. “After two months of intense audit, the employees shouted in one voice that there was no control tower within the association,” the union of the Korea Football Association said. “There was an expectation that Vice Chairman Kim, a former member of the culture department, would respond by holding the key, but surprisingly, he did not play any role.”
Rather, employees could not hide their disappointment in the behavior of using their former vice minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to avoid responsibility, he said. “As public opinion toward the association deteriorated, he reportedly said he would leave soon and that other employees should respond well.”

It also said that Vice Chairman Kim is also responsible for the process of appointing Hong Myung-bo. The Korea Football Association’s labor union said, ” (Coach Hong) was in charge of the detailed terms and conditions of the contract, but his name was not found in any of the reports,” adding, “It was Vice Chairman Kim who claimed that technical director Lee Im-saeng had the authority to negotiate after Chairman Chung Hae-sung resigned.”

The union of the Korea Football Association said, “It was Vice Chairman Kim who ignored Chairman Chung’s order to reorganize the power reinforcement committee,” adding, “He also succeeded in hiding during a questioning on pending issues by the National Assembly’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee last month.” He also claimed that Vice Chairman Kim’s name was excluded from the list of witnesses for the inspection of state affairs by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee, 토토사이트 which will be held on the 24th, and that he is a Former Post Courtesy of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The union of the Korea Football Association stressed Chung’s responsibility for inviting Vice Chairman Kim to the association. The union said Chung should not run for the fourth term even further, adding, “The statement cannot be taken lightly as a call for Kim’s resignation or the failure of Chung to appoint such a person as vice chairman.” It also pointed out that it was a self-inflicted act by Chairman Cha and that it was a proof of his leadership collapse.
