South Korea’s U-19 men’s national soccer team won three consecutive games in the 2025 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers to qualify for the finals.
The U-19 national team, led by head coach Lee Chang-won, won 3-1 with the performance of Kim Tae-won (Portimonens), who scored one goal and one assist in the third Group C match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at Abdullah Al Khalifa Stadium in Kuwait on the 28th (Korea time).
With three consecutive wins (nine points), Korea has maintained its lead in the group, beating the UAE and Kuwait (six points or more).
In this competition, a total of 16 teams will be given tickets to the finals, including the top 10 teams in each group, five teams with good performance among the second-place teams, and China, the host of next year’s finals.
