Mason Mount is back in training.

Manchester United announced on its website on the 5th (Korea time) that “Mount has returned to full-fledged training. I’m not in a hurry to return to Mount, but it was nice to see him appear with the team in a lively and positive way. Mount, who worked hard on rehabilitation during his recovery, is trying to play again soon.”

Mount left Chelsea for Old Trafford last summer. The transfer fee was a whopping 60 million pounds (about 102 billion won). However, contrary to expectations, he had difficulty adapting to the team. As Bruno Fernandes and Mount played together, Casemiro was the only midfielder who could protect his defense. Casemiro’s mobility declined unlike in the past as he entered his 30s. In the end, Manchester United allowed more space in the midfield and often gave up chances to their opponents.

The injury was a drag here. Mount collapsed with the injury in November, and it wasn’t until the end of March that he returned to the ground. After his return, he tried to boost his performance by playing as a substitute, but the season was over.

Ahead of the new season, Mount expressed high expectations as he prepared himself. He also started the opening game against Fulham, contributing to his team’s 1-0 win. He was also on the starting lineup against Brighton in the second round. However, Mount was substituted as soon as the start of the second half. “Mount had a few problems. We replaced Mount because we knew his past. I don’t know how big the problem is. I can’t tell you right now.” Later, according to The Athletic, he is suffering from a hamstring injury and is expected to be absent for four to five weeks.

He returned faster than expected. Mount was listed as a substitute in the fifth round against Crystal Palace and returned to the ground in the sixth round against Tottenham Hotspur. However, he disappeared again afterwards. He eventually missed all four of his latest league games. 먹튀검증

In the meantime, Manchester United has made big changes. Ten Hach has been replaced, and Ruben Amorim has been newly appointed. Attention is being paid to whether Mount will be revived under Amorim’s system. Since Amorim mainly uses 3-4-3 and 3-4-2-1 formations, Mount’s offensive talent is expected to become important.
