The Jordanian national soccer team, which was in the same group in the third qualifying round for the 2026 North Korea-China World Cup, won its second friendly match against North Korea.

The Jordan Football Association said on its social network service (SNS) account on the 30th (Korea time) that it won 2-1 in an exhibition match against North Korea.

The details of the game were not disclosed, but the Jordanian national team said Ali Olwan (24, Selangor) scored multiple goals.

Jordan will compete in Group B with Iraq, Oman, Palestine, and Kuwait for the ticket to the finals, starting with South Korea in the third Asian qualifying round for the 2026 North-China World Cup.

Korea will have two showdowns with Jordan in Group B of the third preliminary round. The team will first play its third match against Jordan on Oct. 10, local time, and then play its eighth match at home on March 25.

North Korea will meet Iran, Qatar, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kyrgyzstan in Group A.
