Choi Chul-soon showed a strong will to stay in the K League 1.

Jeonbuk Hyundai won 4-0 in the fifth Group H qualifying match of the Asian Football Confederation Champions League 2 (ACLT) at 7 p.m. on the 28th at Jeonju World Cup Stadium.

Jeonbuk had a win over Cebu, securing a berth to the round of 16. At the same time, Muangtong United, ranking second in the group, failed to match the points even if it won the remaining matches, thus clinching the top spot in the group.

Choi took the opportunity to play as a starter for the first time in a long time. He showed brisk performance by inducing a penalty kick in the fourth minute of the first half.

Choi Chul-soon said after the game, “I’m satisfied with the game itself. If I have a chance in the future, I want to show you a lot of playing on the ground.”

“I’m in good shape. The coach asked me to pull up the sides and be aggressive, so I enjoyed it,” he added.

Jeonbuk should leave behind the joy of advancing to the round of 16 at ACLT and prepare for the upcoming weekend match where the team’s fate is at stake.

Jeonbuk will play the first round of the promotion playoff against Seoul E-Land at Mokdong Stadium on December 1st for remaining in the K League 1. After that, the second round will be held at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on the 8th.

Choi said, “I don’t have many chances to talk because I’m in Team B’s schedule, but if you watch, the atmosphere is good. The players are well aware that this is an important game. They will do well. I hope they overcome the crisis well with satisfactory performances.” 안전놀이터

Choi Cheol-soon, one-club man, also feels awkward in situations wherein Jeonbuk is holding a playoff for the first time in its life to remain in the K-League 1. Choi emphasized strength in situations where players must survive.

Choi Cheol-soon said, “We need strong performance. It is important to make sure that we fight for sure. Jeonbuk players are not inferior to Seoul E-Land in their 1:1 ability. The players must work together to make sure that they can eat.”
