He left the basketball team immediately after going to a training camp in Japan in August last year. His injury is due to him. He underwent three cruciate ligament surgeries from his high school days to his college years, which deteriorated his athletic ability, and made the difficult decision after hard work. Kim Jae-hyun, who was practicing and rehabilitating as a student at the same time, caught the basketball again with the support from his supporters who had supported his dream of becoming a basketball player. With consideration from his alma mater’s fanatic arts high school, he constantly conducted team training and individual training, and decided to take on the draft challenge. He is classified as a specialist player and participates in the draft as he plans to graduate from college.
Past
He started playing basketball through DB Promy Jr. Park Moo-bin (Hyundai Mobis) was a teammate of the same team when he was a youth player. After entering Gwanganbang Technical High School, he began to draw attention as a scorer with both shooting and breakthrough skills. He was selected for the U16 national team and also received a basketball scholarship from the late Kim Hyun-joon. When he was a freshman, he showed off his powerful ability with 20 points and 20 rebounds against Musongo. Kim Jae-hyun later suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament and went through hardships. He was highly regarded for his potential and went on to Korea University, but failed to get a chance due to recurrence of his injury. When he was a junior, his college league record was 14.5 minutes, 5.2 points and 1.2 3-pointers (success rate of 43.8 percent) in six games, 1.7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.3 steals.

He was a highly anticipated prospect when he was in high school. He had good shooting ability and agility. He was good at handling balls and displayed good athletic ability, but since he injured his cruciate ligament, he has seen his athletic ability deteriorate a lot. As he has not trained and played many games over the past year, he is highly unlikely to be nominated. He should show his shooting ability, which is his strength in tryouts. Team B Power Analysis
I heard that I was evaluated as a promising player when I was in high school. Personally, I only saw him play after going to college. Korea usually used catch-and-shoot and screen attacks. He did not play 2-to-2 and left the basketball team due to injury. His shooting ability was certain, but his break was too long. It is not easy to get out of the basketball team and build up and play basketball again.
