The Korean men’s soccer team led by Coach Hong Myung-bo ranked 22nd in the FIFA rankings. The team is one notch higher than last month.

FIFA announced the men’s world ranking on Monday. Korea ranked 22nd, one notch higher than last month, and ranked third in the AFC, following Japan at 15th and Iran at 19th.

Korea beat Jordan 2-0 and Iraq 3-2 through an A-match in October. Among the countries competing with Hong Myung-bo in Group B of the third Asian qualifying round for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North Korea and China, Iraq ranked 56th. They are Jordan (64th), Oman (80th), Palestine (100th) and Kuwait (135th). 스포츠토토

Korea will play away matches against Kuwait and Palestine on May 14 and 19. Argentina ranks first in the FIFA rankings. France (2nd), Spain (3rd), England (4th), Brazil (5th), and Belgium (6th) continued to stay the same as last month.
