The successful candidates for Gimcheon Sangmu (military team) have been confirmed.
The Military Manpower Administration announced the successful candidates for the first military athletic unit in 2025. The Military Manpower Administration was originally scheduled to announce the successful candidates on March 4, 2025. However, the successful candidates were notified on April 20 according to the club management and players’ contract schedules in 2025. They are scheduled to join the military in April 2025. They will serve in the national defense for a year and six months.

Gimcheon Sangmu, led by head coach Chung Jung-yong, made a splash as the only team to be promoted to Hana Bank’s K League 1 2024. It recorded 18 wins, nine draws and 11 losses (63 points).
