The Korea Football Association refuted the suspicion of leaking the list of presidential electors.
The Korea Football Association said on the 22nd, “The list of electors prepared in accordance with the election management regulations of the president of the Korea Football Association cannot be leaked and has not been viewed by any of the association’s executives.”
He added, “The list of electors will be confirmed on the 24th after a period of reading until the 23rd to check the information of the electors themselves.”
He said, “We express our concern because there is a press release that mentioned the leak of the list and allegations of fraudulent elections, saying that we were simply informed when the voter list was not confirmed.”
Amid the campaign for the president of the Korea Football Association, candidate Huh Jung-moo raised suspicions of leaking the electoral list.
Candidate Huh Jung-moo claimed on the 21st that “the management and operation of the Korea Football Association has been revealed in the presidential election, which has abandoned fairness and common sense.”
“We also heard a report that a list of electors has already been leaked to a high-ranking executive of the Korea Football Association, and that the executive campaigned based on the list.”

The election management committee of the Korea Football Association says as follows regarding the election of the president of the Korea Football Association. 스포츠토토
The list of electors prepared in accordance with the election management regulations of the president of the Korea Football Association cannot be leaked and has not been viewed by any of the association’s executives. The list of electors will be confirmed on the 24th after a period of reading to check the information of the electors until the 23rd, and the confirmed list will be delivered to the candidates after the end of the presidential election candidate registration period (25-27).
However, we are concerned that some candidates have released a press release that mentions the leak of the list and suspicions of fraudulent elections, saying that they were simply informed when the voter list has not been confirmed. Putting forward unconfirmed suspicions can seriously undermine the fairness of election management.
The election management committee will do its best to ensure that the 55th presidential election of the Korea Football Association will be conducted fairly and transparently. Candidates who will run for office will also be encouraged to participate in this election operation.
