The “2024 Dream KFA Mentor FC” of the Korea Football Association (KFA) Soccer Love Sharing Foundation ended successfully in the fourth round on the 22nd.
“Mentor FC,” one of the representative programs of the Korea Football Association’s Soccer Love Sharing Foundation, is a social contribution program in which mentors from all walks of life in various fields share various experiences and information for college students and job seekers and provide domestic job search and motivation to young people who are moving toward their dreams.
The 2024 Mentor FC successfully completed the program with a total of 12 mentors and about 900 mentees on and off-line from the first round held at Asan Institute for Policy Studies on June 28 (Fri) to the fourth round on November 22 (Fri).
In the first round, which was held at Asan Institute for Policy Studies on June 28 (Friday), director Jeon Hae-rim of the Korea Football Association, CEO of Chambadi Kim Ho-nam, and manager Kim Jae-yoon of the Korea Football Association participated as mentors and had a meaningful time with mentees.
Director Jeon Hae-rim delivered the story of not hesitating to do what he likes based on his various experiences through the theme of “Making My Own Way with My Favorite Things,” and CEO Kim Ho-nam selected the theme of “Useless Humanities” and left a message that he can succeed only by keeping simple things well based on his experiences during his career. In addition, manager Kim Jae-yoon introduced his work environment by talking about how he joined the Korea Football Association and his work experience through the theme of “Can I continue playing soccer?”
In the second round, which was held at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies on July 19 (Friday), Kim Myung-joon, manager of the Korea Football Association, Hwang Geon-woo, CEO of Uvis Lab, and Jung Sang-yong, team leader of Nongshim’s esports marketing team, participated as mentors to share various experiences with mentees.
Manager Kim Myung-joon explained the importance of creating his own “character” within the job preparation process and actual work through the theme of “Specialist, not Generalist.”
Under the theme of “Start-up and Growth of Sports Tech Startups,” CEO Hwang Gun-woo introduced the whole story of how to start a startup and the future prospects of the sports industry, while team leader Jung Sang-yong emphasized the importance of sports marketers’ capabilities and “reality” under the theme of “How to make imagination real.”
Subsequently, JoongAng Ilbo reporter Song Ji-hoon, SPOTV caster Yang Dong-seok, and Soccer Love Sharing Foundation director Kim Tae-won attended the third session on September 6 (Friday).
Reporter Song Ji-hoon had a time to introduce the main tasks and values of sports reporters through the theme of “Sports Media, Who Are You?” and Yang Dong-seok explained to mentees what they need to prepare to become a sports caster and how to become a sports caster under the theme of “Surviving as a soccer caster in Korea.”
In addition, director Kim Tae-won selected the theme “Human Resources and Careers for the Age of Finance” and advised mentees who attended the lecture on how to view the present era in an era of great chaos, along with the content that innovation is the best business plan.
Finally, in the fourth round, which took place on November 22 (Fri), Vice Chairman Han Joon-hee of the Korea Football Association, CEO of Rap Choo Jong-yoon Park Jong-yoon, and CEO of Familink Kang Sang-won attended to shine the end of the 2024 Mentor FC.
Under the theme of Football – Globalization, Industrialization, Commercialization, and Theoreticalization, Vice Chairman Han Joon-hee talked about soccer from the past to the present and the process of change in the industry accordingly, and CEO Park Jong-yoon gave a lecture on “My Three Principles for Achieving the Goal” to explain how he came to operate Eastar TV.
Finally, CEO Kang Sang-won threw the theme “No one needs to start a business” to mentees and delivered a message that everyone does not need to start a business, but everyone should focus on their goals with a mindset like an entrepreneur. 메이저놀이터
