Barcelona were ruthless.
Barcelona won 4-0 in the ‘El Clasico’ in the 11th round of Spain’s La Liga against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain, on the 27th (Korea time).
Barcelona thus clinched its 258th El Clasico victory, marking its 101st win (52 draws and 105 losses). It has also scored four goals for El Clasico in two years and seven months since March 2022.
It became the team that won the first double-digit victory of this season as well as No. 1 in La Liga.
Real ended its unbeaten streak of 42 La Liga matches. It lost 397 days after losing to Atletico Madrid in September 2023. And El Clasico’s four-game winning streak is over, too.
Real started with goalkeeper Lunine, followed by Mendy-Rudiger-Millitão-Vazquez-Bellingham-Camavinga-Chuameni-Valverde-Mbappe-Vinícius.

Barcelona struggled with Real’s counterattack with Mbappe at the forefront throughout the first half. Camavinga’s kill pass and Mbappe’s shot hit the side net in the second minute of the first half. Real also fought back with Mbappe’s mid-range shot in the 61st minute of the second half. In the 66th minute of the second half, Mbappe again opened the goal for Barcelona, but he was frustrated by the offside decision.

In the second half of extra time, even Mbappe’s last shot was blocked by Peña’s save, Barcelona beat Real to win El Clasico for the first time this season.
