Chung Jung-yong, 55, manager of the Gimcheon Chamber of Commerce, is an academic background. Chung watches European soccer games whenever he has free time after work. “Coach Chung always thinks about soccer 24 hours a day,” said one of the players who was coached by Chung at the U-20 national team, Seoul E-Land, and Gimcheon.

There is a leader that Chung is keeping an eye on. They are French Ligue 1 team coach R.C. Langs William Steel of Belgium and Ipswich Town coach Kian McKenna of Northern Ireland of the English Premier League.

“All leaders in the world know Manchester City soccer well,” coach Chung said. “We have to watch the game of a team led by the world’s best master like coach Josep Guardiola to keep up with the flow of world soccer.”

Chung, who mentioned this, is keen to watch Ipswich games led by William Steele’s “Lance,” and Kieran McKenna’s “Ipswich.” Why.
I listened to director Jeong’s story.

Q. How was your A-match break in October.

During the first week, I focused on getting a good rest. The players went on vacation. After that, I focused on preparing for the first Final A match for about a week.

Q. Did the director go on vacation again this time.

You can’t empty your seat at this critical time (laughs). I tend not to empty my seat during the season unless it’s very special. Right now, I’m focusing on finishing the final round without any regrets.

Q. This was your last chance to reorganize your team. What did you focus on.

I remember trying to turn things around through the A-match break in September. We had one draw and three losses and went into the A-match break in September. We made some changes through off-season training. As those changes worked, we overcame the crisis. During the A-match break in October, we tried to enhance our performance and strengthen our minds. Not only the final round in front of us, but also next year, we took care of ourselves to play the soccer we wanted. Since the main players are together until April next year, I think we focused on this part.

Q. Gimcheon was promoted to the top of the K League 2 last season. Just by entering the Final A this season, Gimcheon has achieved better-than-expected results.

You achieved your first goal, right? However, it’s not easy to compete for the championship in Final A while serving in the military. I told the players, “Let’s not leave any regrets in the final round.” I plan to do my best in every game.

Q. What coach Chung emphasized the most to players this season is motivation. It was true that the biggest goal of players was to complete their military service without injury before. It has completely changed Gimcheon. It was a perfect motivation for each player. Then, what is the biggest motivation for coach Chung.
From a manager’s point of view, it is better to win the K-League 1. However, in order to win the K-League 1, I think we need to develop ourselves more than we do now (laughs). My biggest personal motivation is to raise the level of completion of the soccer that I want to achieve. Soccer that I really wanted to play. Three-backs and four-backs are used in various ways, and they are more aggressive than they are now against strong teams. We need to make more efforts to equip ourselves with diversity and flexibility in our tactics. 토토사이트

Q. According to Kim, Jeong-yong thinks only about 24-hour soccer. He also watches a lot of European soccer including Manchester City.

Manchester City is a rule. I always watch the games of leading teams in the world, such as Manchester City and Real Madrid. I also try to find a team other than the one that everyone watches. For example, I often watched the French Ligue 1 Stade de la Reign until last season. I watch the RC Reign this season.
